Warranty Policy

At Bel Red Shade, we take pride in providing high-quality home decor products that are built to last. We understand that accidents happen and defects may occur, which is why we offer a comprehensive warranty policy to protect your investment.

We guarantee that our product will be free of manufacturing defects for as long as you own it. Should the product be defective, Bel Red Shade will repair or replace the defective item at its sole discretion.

 

This Warranty covered: 

  • Original Window Treatment

The window treatment being repaired must have been properly installed according to Bel Red Shade installation instructions. It must have remained in the original window in which it was installed, and in the possession of the original purchaser.

  • Cords
Operational cords are covered under warranty for five years from date of purchase.
  • Discontinued Items
If components or color selections have been discontinued, we will give you the value of your original purchase amount towards a replacement product for the same window and size. We will work with you to find the best option.
  • Color & Dye Lot
Colors vary from dye lot to dye lot, and may not exactly match previous purchases.
  • Installation Service
We guarantee the quality of our installation service for a period of one year from the date of service. All services performed and installation materials provided are covered under warranty.

 

Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, improper handling, installation, repairs, operation or cleaning, exposure to sunlight and/or excessive heat sources, or normal wear and tear of materials, components and/or fabrics.
  • Typical variations in fabric color, grain patterns or texture in natural wood or other woven products.
  • Excessive warping of wood slats in high humidity areas.
  • Costs of removal, re-measure, and re-installation associated with window treatment warranty redemption that occur more than one year after the window treatment's order date are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Installation warranty only covers products installed by an authorized Bel Red Shade installer. It does not cover abuse or mis-handling of products that could result in installation failure.
  • Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these exclusions or limitations may not apply.
  • User installation since our installation services are covered under warranty.

     

    Shipping and Installation Services Costs

    Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Our Care experts will explain any applicable charges to you when you are preparing to send in your product that need to be replaced. Installation services are covered under warranty after one year. In many cases, you can easily repair the existing treatment, or install any replacements, yourself. We’ll be glad to talk you through the process. All repairs are completed at our factory. If you would like one of our professionals to come to your home to uninstall and reinstall your window treatments, there will be a service charge for each trip. To request installation/uninstall services, please send your request to our Care experts at info@bel-redhome.com.

     

    Additional Information

    Please note the following:

    Our warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
    Any repairs or modifications made by unauthorized parties will void the warranty.
    Shipping costs for warranty claims are the responsibility of the customer.
    Bel Red Shade reserves the right to refuse warranty claims that do not meet the specified criteria.
