Drapery Measurement

Step 1 Which style of drapes header do you prefer?
Choose One
  • Soft Top 

    No pleats on top. Apply for hook belt, flat hook, tab top, pocket rod and back tab. Consider fullness for width.(Feel free to reach out via email if you need assistance)

  • Pleated

    Apply for two-finger pinch pleat and three-finger pinch pleat.

  • Grommets

    Great for windows without pre-made curtain boxes.

Step 4 Measure height to decide drapery length.

For soft top style, the drapery length is measured from top of rod to floor.

For pleated  style, the curtain length is measured from rod ring eyelet or track ring eyelet to floor.

For grommet style, the length is measured from top of rod to floor.

Step 6 How many inches above the window frame would you mount the rod?

(For pleated and flat hook style, please measure from rod ring eyelet or track runner eyelet to the window frame, which means you should take the hardware (rings/tracks) height into consideration)

Mount the rod near the ceiling line for added visual height. If there is wall space, consider installing the rod 6-8 inches above the window frame.

    Will get a flat sheet like look when kept drawn in.
